Bolsa Chica SB - Special Events - Coastal Cleanup Day at Bolsa Chica State Beach

Join Bolsa Chica State Beach for Coastal Cleanup Day on Saturday, September 20th from 9 am until noon.

This is a free, public cleanup for all ages to give back to their local state park. It's a great way to start a day at the beach.

FREE PARKING: Enter through the main entrance at Bolsa Chica State Beach (17851 Pacific Coast Highway, HB, CA, 92649), between Seapoint and Warner, colloquially called "center signal". Let the entrance attendant know you are there for Coastal Cleanup Day to receive free parking. Keep to the right and follow the park road north to the last lot, next to Tower 28 and Sealegs. Park here.

CHECK IN: Check in with staff at the state park EZ-Up next to Tower 28. Here you will sign waivers, grab any supplies you need, and receive a short orientation before you head out on your beach cleanup.

RSVP: You can show up to the assigned tower on the day of the event. You can also sign up online HERE

WHAT TO BRING: Wear layers, a hat, sunscreen, and shoes you don't mind getting dirty. Bring a reusable water bottle. State Park staff will provide cleanup supplies like bags, gloves, and picksticks but we always encourage you to bring your own if you have it.
