William B. Ide Adobe SHP - Park Host
This park host opportunity requires a person who is interested in maintaining the heritage garden and participating in park programs and events. Located on the Sacramento River, Ide Adobe is a 4-acre day-use park with a picnic area and a historic 1850s homestead.
The park host duties included generally 30 hours a week of:
- Updating staff on park visitation and maintenance needs.
- Providing support for interpretive activities, including the Heritage Garden.
- Providing basic information to visitors and helping operate the Visitor Center.
- Providing basic park security and maintaining restrooms.
