Garrapata SP - Natural Resource Volunteer Program (Garrapata Volunteer Days)
Join us at breathtaking Garrapata State Park for a morning of volunteering with the Natural Resources Volunteer Program! Activities vary throughout the year, but include weeding, watering, planting native plants, seed collecting, picking up trash, and more. This event is co-sponsored by the California State Parks Foundation.
Event is open to the general public!
WHEN: Every 4th Tuesday of the month from 9am to 12pm.
WHERE TO MEET: Location may vary, but we frequently meet at the parking area for access to the Soberanes Canyon Trail (Gate 8). Please visit our website for this month's meeting location.
WHAT TO BRING: Water, snacks, sunscreen, hat, and closed-toe shoes.
