Boise Parks

On-going Programs - Adopt-A-Park

The Adopt-A-Park program engages churches, civic organizations, local businesses, and other community groups in the ongoing care of their favorite neighborhood parks. Adopting groups commit to maintaining their park for a renewable one-year term, helping keep their park in tip top shape. Participants help eradicate graffiti, pick up litter, fill dog bag dispensers, paint/repair site amenities, rake leaves, mulch trees, and other tasks as needed. In exchange, the Department recognizes the adopting groups via signage in the park and on each park's web page on the City of Boise's web site.

So if you love your neighborhood park and would like help us keep it in excellent shape for community use, we would enjoy partnering with you to do so.

Volunteers must review the City of Boise Volunteer Handbook to participate.
