Fort Boise Community Center - Teen Activity Center - Teen City
Be creative, hang out, and mentor great kids.
Volunteers engage with junior high youth ages 7-9th grade at local junior highs (currently South & Hillside), or teens ages 12-18 at the Teen Activity Center located at Fort Boise Community Center.
Volunteers need to be comfortable interacting with and engaging young teens in a variety of recreational activities. Activities may include arts/crafts, gaming, board-card games, STEM experiments, gym/sport play, cooking/baking and occassional field trips. Volunteers are welcome to suggest/lead activites they are passionate about too!
Background check required.
Qualifications Required
- Volunteer Handbook Review Must be Complete
- Volunteer Waiver Must be Complete
- Criminal History Background Check Must be Passed
- Volunteer's Age Must be at least 18 or older
