City Nature Challenge - Kathryn Albertson Park
Kathryn Albertson Park is a 41-acre park near downtown Boise, that was designed to be a haven for resident and migratory wildlife. The park houses a multitude of animal life. The most easily spotted are the many varieties of birds. waterfowl, song and game birds, owls, and herons have found their own niches in the park.
The park is currently undergoing and update to further enhance the area for wildlife. This effort includes the removal of invasive plant species and introduction of natives, development of pollinator areas, introduction of an osprey platform, and more.
