Open Space - Foothills Restoration Projects

Help the City of Boise restore habitat for wildlife by planting native plants. Planting of shrubs will be by hand; training, tools, gloves, and planting equipment will be provided. Projects will involve hiking, packing equipment, digging, kneeling, and bending over to plant. 

  • 10/11: Polecat Gulch - Polecat Loop (South Side) Restoration Event
  • 10/13: Hillside to Hollow Demo Restoration Garden Enhancement
  • 10/16: Foothills East Restoration Event
  • 10/20: Hulls Gulch Demo Restoration Garden Enhancement

Qualifications Required

  • Volunteer Handbook Review Must be Complete
  • Volunteer Waiver Must be Complete
