Youth Sports Programs - Tae Kwon Do Instructor

In partnership with Boise Community Tae Kwon Do, Boise Parks and Recreation offers a series of beginning to advanced level classes, for students aged seven to adult, that are interested in learning about the ancient Korean martial art of Tae Kwon Do. Instructors are advanced students of Tae Kwon Do with senior ranking, who have demonstrated outstanding dedication and skills, that volunteer their time to promote the sport of Tae Kwon Do. Their primary goal is to provide a safe, quality martial arts training experience in a family-oriented environment.

If you are passionate about Tae Kwon Do and want a rewarding experience passing on your knowledge to others, then this is the program for you.

Volunteers must review the City of Boise Volunteer Handbook to participate.

Qualifications Required

  • Criminal History Background Check Must be at least Passed
  • Volunteer Handbook Review Must be Complete
  • Volunteer Waiver Must be Complete
