Volunteer Opportunities

Junior Docent at Museum of Surrey- Want to be part of something BIG? The Museum of Surrey youth volunteer team is always up to something new and exciting. Junior Docents get their hands on great experiences that look amazing on a resume and scholarship applications, all while making lasting friendships and having a blast.

Location

Museum of Surrey (17710 56A Avenue, Cloverdale)

Responsibilities

What might that look like? On an event day, you might help with demonstrations or work in a team to assist with fun activities. On a quieter day, you might prepare craft material and chat with museum staff about ways to improve the visitor experience.  You may even help out with a program and get hands on with super cool artifacts.

If you are a 14+ organized youth, we would love to see your smiling face for a minimum of four hours per month. We will even provide training and leadership development so you can represent the museum with confidence.
