Description
Do you enjoy interacting with children? Could you inspire them to love nature? Help Day Camp Staff coordinate nature games, crafts, outings and other activities. The Surrey Nature Centre offers day camps during summer and spring breaks.

Step 1 - Eligibility Requirements
- 14+ years old
- Submit two references, complete a Police Information Check, and successfully complete an interview
- Complete a Training and Orientation session
- Comfortable interacting with children and a team of staff and volunteers
- Approachable, friendly, and professional
- Ability to take initiative and direction as required
Time Commitment: One full week (M-F 8:30am to 3:30pm).
Camps are through the summer (July to August). Camps may also be running during spring break and pro-D days.
Location: Surrey Nature Centre (14225 Green Timbers Way)
Step 2- Application Process
- Provide 2 references
- Successfully complete a Police Information Check (free for volunteers)
- Successfully complete an interview
Step 3 - Volunteer
- When all the above steps have been completed, you will be contacted by phone or email by a program administrator
This process can take up to 6 weeks so we thank you for your diligence and patience. Once you are eligible to volunteer, log-in to your profile at MyImpactPage.com to search and sign up for volunteer activities, confirm shifts and record your hours of service.
