Foster City

Friends of the Foster City Library seek to recruit several volunteers to join their FOL Board. Being a part of the FOL Board provides a unique opportunity to help with fundraising and other administrative tasks that support the Foster City Library in its mission: "To ignite growth through transformative experience".

Duties include but are not necessarily limited to the maintenance of corporate record; the recording and distribution of minutes; attendance at monthly meetings (4th Tuesday of the month, 6:00 pm); assistance with events and meeting preparation. Must be able to write and articulate coherently, be computer literate, and work in a team environment. Advertising/Marketing experience is a plus. FOL mostly raises money through book sales to fund programs at our community library.

This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in libraries. Being a part of the Friends of the Foster City Library can be an excellent experience to build your personal resume. We are open to your suggestions for ways to assist.
