Mesa Arts Center

The Store is an exciting volunteer opportunity!  All of the inventory is created by members of the Mesa Arts Center Foundation's Artist Coop.  Store Assistants process transactions using the point of sales system, assist with receiving and pricing of merchandise, set up displays in the Store, and provide friendly customer service.

The Store is open:

Tue-Wed: 12pm- 5pm

Thurs-Sat: 10am-- 7:30pm

Sundays: 12pm- 5pm

*The Store is open extended hours during festivals and special events throughout the year.

*Shifts vary between 2 and 4 hours.

Volunteers are ready to sign-up for Store Assistant shifts once they have completed New Volunteer Orientation and completed the new Store Assistant training.

Store Assistants enjoy several benefits including gaining valuable experience in the arts field, making wonderful new friendships, and earning points that can be redeemed for various prizes including theater tickets and class discounts!

Store Assistants must be at least 18 years old and customer service oriented.  Previous retail experience is helpful, but not required.

Potential volunteers must first submit a completed volunteer application and pass a fingerprint and background check before they can begin volunteering.  Once clearance is received, they will be invited to the New Volunteer Orientation.
