Arizona Disabled Sports - Adaptive Sport Programs

Arizona Disabled Sports (AzDS), is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing sports and recreation opportunities for individuals with all types of disability. The sports programs for individuals with physical disabilities are designed for athletes ages 6 through adulthood who have an orthopedic, neurological or sensory impairment. This can include but is not limited to cerebral palsy, spinal cord injury, spina bifida, amputation, traumatic brain injury, and visual impairment.

Arizona Disabled Sports has a variety of adaptive sport programs that are offered; kayaking, cycling, bowling, wheelchair basketball, power soccer, track, field, archery, and swimming. Below you will find some opportunities for everyone to take part in.

PLEASE NOTE:
Volunteers can be on a steady basis or even half way steady basis. Volunteers are not require you to sign up for the entire season. You can just volunteer for one session, if desired – although we do love our regulars!

We prefer individuals 16 years or older, but individuals can be younger if an adult is present with them at all times.
