Mesa Arts Center

Join Mesa Arts Center's volunteer team as a Special Event Aide!  Special Event Aides assist with Mesa Arts Center Programs, events, and festivals completing tasks and projects leading up to those activities, as well as providing day of assistance for those activities.  Some volunteer tasks include checking in volunteers, aiding local artists, providing materials to the public, leading craft activities, and making crafts.  

Volunteers are ready to sign-up for Special Event Aide shifts once they have completed New Volunteer Orientation.  Volunteers can self-select as few or as many volunteer shifts as desired using their online volunteer account.

Special Event Aides enjoy several benefits including gaining valuable experience in the arts field, making wonderful new friendships, and earning points that can be redeemed for various prizes including theater tickets and class discounts!

Special Event Aides must be at least 18 years old.

Potential volunteers must first submit a completed volunteer application and pass a fingerprint and background check before they can begin volunteering.  Once clearance is received, they will be invited to the New Volunteer Orientation.
