Campbell River Partners for Animal Welfare Society (CR PAWS)

Trappers are assigned trapping locations and/or are available for immediate trapping situations. We trap feral and semi-social cats and kittens in various locations such as logging roads, private residences, and public spaces. Trappers are extremely patient but think on their toes in a high paced situation and are ok with all types of weather conditions. Trapping is probably the most rewarding position we have as you get instant satisfaction and an adrenaline rush when you are successful. Some of the most successful teams are couples, a great “date night”. All training is provided.
