JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for an admin person to:

- deal with daily emails

- maintain and keep records / database up to date

- process various applications, place orders for supplies and services, and liaise with other volunteers on day-to-day matters

SKILLS REQUIRED

Must be computer savvy - knowledge of Google Drive and Excel would be an advantage.


Must be motivated and self managing, deal with tasks in a timely manner. There are set processes/procedures that must be followed in a prescribed and timely manner.


Must be meticulous and highly organised.

DAYS AND TIMES REQUIRED

Immediate start, we are looking for a long term commitment.

As to time commitment to the role some days there is very little to do apart from deal with emails other days there maybe a 2-3 hour commitment required, it all depends on what is happening at any one time. We have no control over this we are responding to what is required at the time.

SUPERVISION AND TRAINING

Full training and on going support provided.

SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS

Need own computer and internet

Understanding the complexity of dealing with rescued dogs, This often requires prompt action and a realistic approach to dealing with people, while putting the needs of the dog first.

We sometimes deal with issues related to dogs being impounded and owners being in personal situations that affect their pet ownership, so discretion and an understanding of confidentiality is extremely important.
