VISITOR/COMPANION - Shopping Companion

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for someone who is independent and motivated who can drive and is prepared to help residents with personal shopping as required.  This would be an on call position to be arranged with resident and volunteer. 

SKILLS REQUIRED

Clean driving licence, mature person, physically fit and able to help resident with walkers in and out of the car. 

Punctual, reliable, friendly and empathetic to aged care. 

LOCATION

All areas in Dunedin

DAYS AND TIMES REQUIRED

Varies to suit volunteer.

DRESS CODE

Tidy and casual dress

SUPERVISION AND TRAINING

Infection control,boundaries, manual handling, health and safety training provided.

SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS

Police check required - no criminal record of theft, fraud, violence or dangerous driving.
