MANAGEMENT-SPECIAL PROJECTS - Bus Buddies Programme Manager
JOB DESCRIPTION |
Establish a programme of organised "Bus Buddy" volunteers who assist bus users who are finding it difficult to use the Dunedin bus service perhaps due to disability, newly arriving in Dunedin for example. |
SKILLS REQUIRED |

LOCATION |
The volunteer's home. We also often meet at the homes of other Bus Go members. |
DAYS AND TIMES REQUIRED |
A good deal of time at the start to get the programme going then a few hours a week. |
DRESS CODE |
No dress code while in the manager role but there will be a dress code for Bus Buddies and the manager would follow this code when acting as a Bus Buddy. |
SUPERVISION AND TRAINING |
The programme will be established with the help of other members of Bus Go as a joint effort bringing together lots of ideas for how it should be run. The Bus Buddy programme manager's role will be to make sure the programme continues to run smoothly. The manager will be supported until this happens, which will then allow other members of Bus Go to continue with their other projects. |
