Adult Helper/Activity Leader Helping out a variety of different Scout Groups deliver their weekly programme. |
SKILLS REQUIRED |
Good attitude enjoys interacting with and is confident around children and youth, able to follow instructions, likes to be part of a team, confident to share ideas and suggest activities. |

Scout Groups in and around Dunedin |
DAYS AND TIMES REQUIRED |
Scout Groups meet evenings, Section times are from 1 to 2 hours plus planning and tidy up time. Each volunteer can be attached to several Groups so they are able to attend 4 evenings a week during placement. |
DRESS CODE |
T Shirt Provided – Black Jeans or Pants, |
SUPERVISION AND TRAINING |
Will be supervised by the Section Leader in the Scout Group they attend. |
SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS |
Evenings only. Must have access to a vehicle and drivers license as this involves visiting and joining in the activities and helping to deliver the programme with a variety of different scout groups for several nights of the week. (Some reimbursement for fuel given as long as log of travel is kept and submitted) Need to have a good sense of humour, confident around young people aged 6 to 16. Able to work as part of a team and interact with a diverse range of personalities. NO Criminal Convictions - Ideal candidates will have undertaken a recent Police Check, however this is not essential as they will be fully supervised at all times. |
