CAREGIVING/SUPPORT - Resident Meal Buddy

JOB DESCRIPTION

 Availability at  meal times for helping residents with their meals or at other times for doing activities with them e.g. reading, puzzles, crafts etc.

SKILLS REQUIRED

Patience, kindness, caring, empathy and quiet manner.

Able to communicate

LOCATION

Leslie Groves Hospital units– Taieri, Redwood, Ferntree

DAYS AND TIMES REQUIRED

A few hours per week or month

DRESS CODE

Neat and tidy. Good personal hygiene standards.

SUPERVISION AND TRAINING

Help from other staff but volunteers need to ask questions as staff are very busy
