JOB DESCRIPTION

To assist staff transfer residents, in wheelchairs and lounge chairs, from their living areas to and from events within the facility. This role needs a person who is physically capable of pushing residents in chairs. Remaining with residents while entertainment is being held and assisting to serve afternoon tea after the event. Helping to clear room of chairs and tables at the completion of the afternoon. The volunteer will be instructed by staff

DAYS AND TIMES REQUIRED

Tuesday afternoons 1.30-3.30

Shoes or sandals with toes covered

SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS

Police check and an interview required.

Also 2 referees who have known the applicant for over 1 year and are over 21years of age. They cannot be related. We provide the referee forms.

Out of pocket travel expenses will be reimbursed (Go Card for bus users).
