EVENT AND FACILITY-GENERAL ASSISTANCE - Car park controller

JOB DESCRIPTION
  •  Assist customers to utilise parking spaces effectively
  • Monitor car park safety and provide assistance
  • Try and prevent dangerous/illegal parking

SKILLS REQUIRED
  • Ability to deal positively with people
  • Have a friendly but “no-nonsense” approach with customers
  • Have empathy for our customers
  • Have ability to problem solve
  • Have good communication skills

LOCATION

Edgar Centre

DAYS AND TIMES REQUIRED

Usually after school until 6pm and Saturdays

DRESS CODE

Tidy, warm clothing

SUPERVISION AND TRAINING

Full induction programme/assistance with transport costs/tea and coffee with biscuits at break times/Hi-viz vest

SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS

Must enjoy dealing with people and working outdoors – sometimes in poor weather
