JOB DESCRIPTION

Events volunteers will manage and co-host events. (do not need to be queer but do need to be proqueer and supportive of queer community)

Alcohol and drug free responsibilities while in the role at events.

Communicating and liaising with venue staff and providing safe contact points for community members.

Understand how to run a social group (we provide training for both roles)

volunteers are recruited into a roster for events and groups well in advance

SUPERVISION AND TRAINING

2 day workshop on DPInc. volunteer roles

training in group facilitation and events management
