ENVIRONMENTAL IMPROVEMENT - Conservation Habitat Worker
JOB DESCRIPTION |
A range of conservation work in YEPT reserves including planting, weeding, spray releasing (herbicide), checking traps, penguin nest searching, removing fences, etc. |
SKILLS REQUIRED |
Interest in conservation and physically fit. Note that we have had 16 year olds and 70 year olds volunteering for field work – there are normally a range of jobs and we arrange people according to their abilities, physical and otherwise. |

DAYS AND TIMES REQUIRED |
Monday – Friday, mornings and afternoons |
DRESS CODE |
Suitable outdoor work clothing, including parka, boots, fleece, etc. |
SUPERVISION AND TRAINING |
Training is provided. |
SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS |
Volunteers must be on email, as our contact is through a YEPT Habitat volunteer email list. |
