ENVIRONMENTAL IMPROVEMENT - Adopt a Spot Volunteer

JOB DESCRIPTION

An enjoyable way in which members of the community, as individuals or as a group, can look after a small area of our city on a regular basis by keeping it clean and tidy.

SKILLS REQUIRED

The desire to make a valuable contribution by doing

(for example):

  • Litter Collection
  • Weed Control
  • Gum Removal
  • Refreshing Painted Areas

LOCATION

An area of your community that could look a lot better if somebody took care of it. Keep Dunedin Beautiful has a database of Adopt A Spot areas.

DAYS AND TIMES REQUIRED

As little as 10 minutes per week or longer sessions of 3 or 4 times a year

Not required

SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS

Safety guidelines, plastic bags, gloves etc. can be provided
