DAYS AND TIMES REQUIRED |
Our days/times of opening are rather fluid, and depend upon the availability of out Lead Volunteer staff (a small group, presently 5 people). But currently, we aim to open our site from midday to 3 on weekends and Mondays. Other days of the week may happen, if/when our lead staff indicate availability. One of our group phones around the week prior, to see who is available, and a roster is then uploaded to the website: see www.dunedincablecars.co.nz/volunteer.html |
DRESS CODE |
Tidy casual. We provide badges saying "Cable Car Team" |
SUPERVISION AND TRAINING |
We invite volunteers to read the material on our website, www.dunedincablecars.co.nz, in order to become familiar with the aims and history of the project. We also have a Facebook contact, www.facebook.com/MorningtonCableCars Otherwise, training is on site, by observing how our Lead staff deal with the public, and volunteers then becoming more involved as they become familiar with the process. |
