JOB DESCRIPTION

•  Providing English home tutoring and settlement support to immigrants.
• Working with an immigrant learner giving regular help.

• Assist adult learners to participate in their community.

SKILLS REQUIRED

• Empathy with the leaner
• Non-judgemental, non racial attitude
• Patience

LOCATION

Dunedin suburbs – you will be matched with a learner who will generally live close to you.

DAYS AND TIMES REQUIRED

Usually for one hour a week but could be more if you wish.

Neat and tidy

SUPERVISION AND TRAINING

Two training courses per year – March/April and July/August
