JOB DESCRIPTION

Are you passionate about shopping? Do you enjoy helping people find 'just what they're looking for'? Then this might be the role for you!

We need retail assistants to work at one of our busy retail stores.

Various shifts available Monday - Saturday.

You need to be enthusiastic, hard-working, a great communicator and a team player.

You'll receive full training and will always be working with another person.

You'll be pricing goods, helping with displays, stocking shelves, serving customers, keeping the shop clean and tidy

Op Shop on St Andrew on St Andrew Street, Dunedin CBD

DAYS AND TIMES REQUIRED

Various shifts available Monday - Saturday

Start date: as soon as possible

DRESS CODE

Smart and comfortable with good shoes as role involves a lot of standing

SUPERVISION AND TRAINING

Training in customer service, health and safety, retail

SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS

You will need to be over 16 and are required to have a police check. Interviews will be conducted and 2 referees will be required. These should be people whom you have worked / volunteered with before or who know you in a professional capacity, e.g. school teacher, lecturer, community group leader.

Team work, social skills, retail skills, cash register skills, contribution to the community and charity
