JOB DESCRIPTION

The gas works runs fully on volunteers. We have a fantastic crew but need a few more people on board, especially for special projects. We have a number of working bees planned and also have other projects of various types that we would welcome assistance with.

SKILLS REQUIRED

Common sense, good communication and trade or practical skills would be very helpful. Some other projects may be research, web set-up, social media, interactive stations or digital displays etc.

DAYS AND TIMES REQUIRED

Anytime, Sunday Mornings, Sunday Afternoons

DRESS CODE

Comfortable clothing that is not too good depending on the working conditions. Sturdy footwear.

SUPERVISION AND TRAINING

Site and project familiarization. Support as required dependent on the task or project that is undertaken. General safety and emergency procedures etc.

SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS

There may be conditions depending on the project. Interviews will be conducted. Character references would be helpful. Would show you around and if required a trial basis to ensure both parties are happy. Certain expenses may be reimbursed, but usually lunch and transport are the responsibility of the volunteer.
