EVENT AND FACILITY GENERAL ASSISTANCE - Site Market Volunteer

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

Helping & interacting with the public with any queries from our market caravan hub on market day (Saturdays only). Also it's a retail sales role as we have merchandise sold from there.

SKILLS REQUIRED

A bright, bubbly personality with great people skills.

Cash handling experience.

A love of farmers markets & the ethos around sustainability, buying local & eating seasonally.

LOCATION

Otago Farmers Market - Dunedin Railway Station carpark (central city) in the market caravan.

DAYS AND TIMES REQUIRED

Saturdays - 10am - 12pm. Once every 4-6wks would be ideal. Dates to start to be discussed on availability.

DRESS CODE

Tidy, warm clothing.

SUPERVISION AND TRAINING

We would do an induction & be there to support the volunteer on their first morning.

SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS

Clean police record (as cash handling).

Good english preferred.

Good mobility (as you are working in a small caravan).
