JOB DESCRIPTION |
To manage and lead the operation of the relevant youth section in particular the planning and delivery of the National Programme to the Kea cub, Scout or Venturer Group
Prepare and encourage youth members to progress to the next level. |
SKILLS REQUIRED |
Team play, energy, honesty, awareness of child safety and child protection, and the ability to deliver structured programmes in a fun and engaging manner. |
LOCATION |
Grant Braes Scout Hall, Larnach Road, Waverley. |
DAYS AND TIMES REQUIRED |
Thursday afternoons, Thursday evenings. |
DRESS CODE |
Black trousers or skirt, grey ‘Scout’ shirt and group scarf, black shoes. |
SUPERVISION AND TRAINING |
A complete leadership development programme is available. Peers support and mentoring. |
