ENVIRONMENTAL IMPROVEMENT - Conservation Volunteer

JOB DESCRIPTION

 Volunteers are needed for a variety of tasks including

  • weed release
  • track maintenance
  • tree planting
  • predator control
  • bird surveys
  • nursery work
  • general maintenance

SKILLS REQUIRED

Motivation and willingness to learn are key skills required. Participants need to be willing to work in the outdoors and committed to enhancing the conservation values.

LOCATION

Sinclair Wetlands,  854 Berwick Rd, Berwick, Dunedin 9073

DAYS AND TIMES REQUIRED

Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and any other time as arranged. (weekends etc)

DRESS CODE

Suitable outdoor clothing, decent footwear, rain jacket, sunhat etc.

SUPERVISION AND TRAINING

Training and supervision will be provided.
