Food Preparation/Delivery - Foodbank Volunteers

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

This position will require the Volunteer to be a part of a team dedicated to the day to day running of our foodbank. You will be Bagging up food, doing pickups, drop offs, and sorting incoming goods. You will be part of a team who is hard working, but also part of a family who want to have a good time while we work. A positive attitude is a must. We pride ourselves on a healthy team environment.

SKILLS REQUIRED

Able to follow instructions.

Ability to work quickly as we have a lot to get through.
A clean Drivers license would be helpful.

Monday Mornings, Tuesday Mornings, Tuesday Afternoons,

Wednesday Mornings, Thursday Mornings, Thursday Afternoons,

Friday Mornings

DRESS CODE

Comfortable, tidy casual

SUPERVISION AND TRAINING

Instructions given each day, and friendly staff available to help when needed

SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS

We are dealing with food, so people need to be clean and hygienic.

All volunteers will be interviewed. They will require police vetting and 2 personal Referees.

Out of pocket expenses can be reimbured to the maximum of $4.00 per day.
