MANAGEMENT-VOLUNTEER ADMINISTRATION - Volunteer Coordinator

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the smooth recruitment, management, monitoring and effective support systems including ongoing training and supervision for our Volunteers. Key tasks include

  • Managing the volunteer recruitment process and Induction Training
  • Managing the Volunteer Programme
  • Overseeing the database
  • Organising ongoing training for volunteers
  • General office duties including filing, phone calls and answering emails

SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Experience working with people from a wide range of cultures, ages and backgrounds
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and basic computer/internet navigation
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work unsupervised
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • An enjoyment in working with volunteers and supporting them in their volunteering experience with Youthline

Central Dunedin
