ENVIRONMENTAL IMPROVEMENT - Weed Control Volunteer

JOB DESCRIPTION

One of the key threats to the health and function of the wetlands eco-system is exotic weeds. Grey and Crack willow are under constant control at Te Nohoaka o Tukiauau / Sinclair Wetlands as are other weeds like gorse, broom, glyceria and grasses. We use a range of control methods; hand pulling, hand tools, mechanical, and spot spraying
