JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Prepare the monthly meeting agenda in consultation with the Chairman and distribute these.

2. Take all necessary correspondence and records to the meetings.

3. Record the minutes of meetings accurately. Have them checked by the chairman before circulating them to Board members.

4. Deal with correspondence.

5. Countersign cheques as required.

6. Deal with other matters as requested by the Chairman or Board.

SKILLS REQUIRED

Basic secretarial skills

LOCATION

Meetings usually held in a members home.

DAYS AND TIMES REQUIRED

Ten monthly meetings a year. Time worked in to suit all Board members. At the moment this is on Friday afternoons.

DRESS CODE

Tidy, comfortable wear.
