MENTORING - ICONZ Leader
JOB DESCRIPTION |
The volunteer will be part of a team who meet with a group of 15 boys once a week at the ICONZ venue usually for 1-1.5hours. Boys are mentored through activities, adventure and relationships in order to become part of a team, develop leadership skills, build healthy self-worth and grow spiritually. ICONZ leaders follow an annual curriculum that includes games, activities, learnings, outings, making things, socials and devotionals. Leaders have flexibility in presenting each evening’s activity incorporating adventure. |

All regions in Otago |
DAYS AND TIMES REQUIRED |
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings. Some weekend activities are planned usually last a couple of hours. There may be a planning/training session occasionally. Camps and getaways are arranged twice a year. |

Ongoing training is provided every year. |
SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS |
Volunteers are required to undergo police vetting. Volunteers are required to provide referees. |
