JOB DESCRIPTION

A volunteer is required to assist a person with Fibromyalgia in their day to day job either at their own home or at the person’s home. The role includes preparing letters for sponsorship etc.

SKILLS REQUIRED

Volunteers need to have a lot of initiative, drive and be able to  pick up and go especially when the person is having their Fibromyalgia Flare up days and is "bedridden"

LOCATION

Volunteers will either work from their own homes and keep in contact via Skype; or at 17 Atkinson Street, South Dunedin.

DAYS AND TIMES REQUIRED

Mondays to Fridays 10 to 2pm

DRESS CODE

Smart casual

SUPERVISION AND TRAINING

Be taught organization leadership and management skills

SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS

2 references are required. Volunteers must also have a reliable vehicle and be prepared to drive and work at the person’s home when required.
