BOARDS/COMMITTEES - Trustee

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for trustees with an interest in environmental

restoration, and also with skills or experience in some aspect of

the trust work such as fresh water/wetlands ecology, funding

procurement, finances, law, marketing, secretarial administration

or education.

SKILLS REQUIRED

Fresh water/wetlands ecology or Funding procurement or Finances or Law or Marketing or Education or Secretarial Administration

LOCATION

Meetings are held at the Ngai Tahu Law Centre - corner of Stuart

and Smith streets Dunedin. Te Nohoaka o Tukiauau / Sinclair Wetlands are located 50km south of Dunedin.

DAYS AND TIMES REQUIRED

Anytime,  one Wednesday a month evening

SUPERVISION AND TRAINING

Each new trustee is provided with an information pack and is

mentored by one of the existing trustees. We welcome young

people keen to develop their experience of community work.

SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS

We are looking for people who have time, energy and enthusiasm for the work of the trust and any of the varied aspects of the trust's work. Volunteers will be interviewed and the contact details of 2 referees will be required.
