EVENTS-GENERAL ASSISTANCE - Novelty Train Maintenance


JOB DESCRIPTION

Volunteer work includes helping maintenance and possible vehicle grooming.

SKILLS REQUIRED

  • A sense of humour and patience.

  • Willingness to learn and be guided by the rules and bylaws of CREST and the Dunedin Botanic Garden.

  • General handy person skills (mechanical/electrical) would be an advantage but not essential.

Dunedin Botanic Garden

DAYS AND TIMES REQUIRED

Winter Roster is one mid-week duty on a rotational basis – weather permitting

Weekends  11am to 2.45 pm weather permitting

School Holidays – everyday 11 am – 2.45 pm

Smart casual

SUPERVISION AND TRAINING

Full training provided with ongoing support.

A booklet about CREST is available at Volunteering Otago office.

SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS

A mature manner is essential.
