JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for people to help with the day to day running of our groups. We run groups Mon - Friday and are looking for a helpful person from 10 until 2:30. Our clients all live in their own home and come to us for the day for recreational activities and socialization.

Volunteers would help with the morning and afternoon tea, lunch serving and assist the coordinators with planned activity delivery and assist the clients when needed.

SKILLS REQUIRED

We are a small organisation, so don't have any more than 12 clients a day, so a chatty, friendly person to help conversation going.

Someone who can commit to the same day each week. This helps build a rapport with clients

Bright bubbly personality.

Able to follow instructions but also use your own initiative.

Pass a police check and understand and respect confidentiality

DAYS AND TIMES REQUIRED

Week days 10 am to 2:30

DRESS CODE

Casual

SUPERVISION AND TRAINING

First Aid training with staff annually (paid for by organisation)

SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS

Interviews will be conducted and police vetting will be undertaken. Referees are not required but could be beneficial.
