ART/CRAFT/ENTERTAINMENT - Activity Assistant

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

Assisting with the activities for the day. Assisting with the preparation and service of morning and afternoon tea and delivery of lunch (already plated).   Occasionally assisting clients to the bathroom door and back as required, and generally ensuring clients are comfortable as directed by the co-ordinator.

SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Caring and respectful attitude.

  • An ability to keep confidentiality.

  • Ability to work as part of a team.

LOCATION

Maybank Lounge, Ross Home, North Road, North East Valley.

DAYS AND TIMES REQUIRED

9:45am – 3:30pm Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Fridays

or part day: 9:45am – 12:45pm OR 12:30pm – 3:30pm

                  OR as otherwise arranged.

DRESS CODE

Casual, smart, clean and tidy appearance.

SUPERVISION AND TRAINING

Training provided.

SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS

Volunteers undergo an interview and police check.

Reimbursement for travel in own car or bus.

Morning and afternoon tea provided.
