TEACHING/TUTORING/ASSISTING - TE REO FOR BEGINNERS

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

Department of Corrections is looking for Volunteers that are able to teach the men simple Te Reo and willing to teach men of all ages. We are looking for some one who can:

• Work along side prisoners

• Be comfortable teaching a small group

• Know basic Te Reo and have an understanding of Maori culture

• Have experience teaching adult learners

SKILLS REQUIRED

Knowledge of Te Reo and relevant teaching experience.
