JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for volunteers who are willing to see 2-3 medical students in their home to discuss their story of illness, PLEASE SEE SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS BELOW

SKILLS REQUIRED

Must be willing and able to communicate experience of illness and/or disability with medical students

SUPERVISION AND TRAINING

None

SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS

Volunteers should be under 60 and have low levels of activity or be obese or interested in a green prescription and have a recent or ongoing illness such as: Type 2 Diabetes, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (and a current smoker), Heart Disease or Cancer
