JOB DESCRIPTION

Maintenance of patch of plants, hand weeding, replacing or turning weed mats etc.

SKILLS REQUIRED

Keen to improve environment and restore habitat through plant management.

LOCATION

DOC Scenic Reserve, Orokonui Estuary, end of Foyle St, Waitati.

DAYS AND TIMES REQUIRED

Every last Sunday of month August to May. 9:30 am start.

DRESS CODE

Warm/waterproof clothing, sunscreen and sunhat, sturdy shoes. Bring water to drink.

SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS

Fitness level, low - medium. Care to be taken when lifting and bending.

Transport: Available but need to book a place (through the application form on the DOC website), departs the University Bookshop 9 am.
