ADVOCACY - Ramp Assistant in Adaptive Sport
JOB DESCRIPTION |

We are looking for a person to assist a man in his 50s to practice and compete in his sport. The man has cerebral palsy and plays Boccia and adaptive form of bowls for people with physical disability. This would involve assisting him on Wednesday evenings for about 2 hours for practice session and the odd tournament throughout the year. |

SKILLS REQUIRED |

A friendly considerate person who is a good listener and wants to have some fun |

LOCATION |
|
The Sargood Centre Dunedin and tournament venues which could be out of town and sometimes overseas. This is all negotiable. |
|
DAYS AND TIMES REQUIRED |
|
Wednesday nights fro 5 - 7pm and tournaments |
|
DRESS CODE |
|
Casual tidy. |
|
SUPERVISION AND TRAINING |
|
Full introduction and background information provided. Teaching from an expert in the game and previous volunteer. |
