ARTISTIC WORK/CRAFTING - Sewers
JOB DESCRIPTION |
If you're creative and can sew, we'd love to have you join our sewing group on Friday morning's. Our charity shops are going plastic bag free and our Stepping Stones clients (adults living with mental health challenges) want to support this initiative by designing and sewing re-usable bags for use by the shops. If you're a sewer and want to teach others a skill that you love, then this is the role for you. You need to bring your imagination and your sewing fingers. |
SKILLS REQUIRED |
Able to use a sewing machine (you'll be given instructions on how to use our ones). |
LOCATION |
Macandrew House, 186 Macandrew Road, South Dunedin. Can be reached by buses which go to South Dunedin or St Clair. |
DAYS AND TIMES REQUIRED |
Group meets Friday mornings from 10.00am. Come along as often as you'd like for as long as you'd like. |
DRESS CODE |
Casual and comfortable |
SUPERVISION AND TRAINING |
You'll be briefed on what we need and how to use the machine you'll be using. |
SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS |
You're welcome to come along and try it out to see if it's what you're looking for. |
