JOB DESCRIPTION

DMEC needs volunteers to be on the Executive Committee to

meet once  a month to

• assist with events and activities during the year

• attend monthly meeting

• be involved with decision making

SKILLS REQUIRED

• good listener

• good organiser

• good communication skills

• to understand and have an interest in multi culture

• to be compassionate

LOCATION

226 High Street with English Language Partners

DAYS AND TIMES REQUIRED

Once a month on Tuesday nights

DRESS CODE

Casual tidy

SUPERVISION AND TRAINING

Ongoing training and support given

SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS

• Interview and police check required

• 2 referees who have known the volunteer for 2 years
