JOB DESCRIPTION |
If you are unable to commit to volunteering with SCOUTS NZ on a regular basis you can become a Scouting Associate. Volunteers can help out with a project or activity the matches their personal skill set and contribute towards particular projects. Volunteers can assist in activities and events like Mudslide Day, SCOUTS Adventure schools, help organise events, recruit new volunteers and youth members, and help with fundraising or even maintenance on equipment. |
SKILLS REQUIRED |
Team players that demonstrate honesty and integrity. Skills depend on what activity the volunteer selects to participate in |

Various locations throughout Otago |
DAYS AND TIMES REQUIRED |
Flexible commitment although volunteers need to commit to a minimum of 10 hours per year |

Will depend on the activity the volunteer is involved in |
SUPERVISION AND TRAINING |
There are various leadership development programmes available to our volunteers dependent on their level of commitment |
SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS |
