JOB DESCRIPTION |
St Johns’ welcomes expressions of interest from individuals with a passion for their community! As an Ambulance and Events Volunteer you will provide an invaluable service. Our ambulance service is internationally respected both for its scope of activities and clinical excellence and our first aid support at events throughout New Zealand is highly valued. Volunteers will be able to provide appropriate clinical care to patients as required once fully trained and supported. Be able to help people in a compassionate and professional way, embracing the diversity our communities offer whilst being committed to continuous learning and training and display St John's core values. And without question act in a trustworthy and reliable manner. |

LOCATION |
Positions available in Owaka, Oamaru, Palmerston, Ranfurly, Kurow, Balclutha, Milton & Lawrence. |
DAYS AND TIMES REQUIRED |
Able to commit to regular duties (two - three 12 hour shifts per month or alternative arrangements by agreement of the Station Manager) and ongoing training and courses funded by St John. |

Uniform is provided. |
SUPERVISION AND TRAINING |
NZQA recognised training from the leading provider of prehospital emergency care in the country! SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS |
Volunteers will be interviewed, require two referees and will be reimbursed for out of pocket expenses. |
